In a press statement released on 4 April, the departure of Richard Lunn from SX Environmental was announced by P+L Systems Ltd.
The statement read:
After a successful transitional period of 15 months, following the sale of SX Environmental Services to P+L Systems, Richard Lunn has decided to step down from his role as consultant to SX at the end of April. During this transitional period Richard has assisted in the preparation for the SX team to continue running the business whilst at the same time accelerating sales growth and customer reach including the launch of the SX brand into a number of mainland European markets. Peter Mangion, managing director at P+L Systems said: “We are very grateful to Richard for agreeing to stay on at SX after selling the company to us in February 2012. Richard has made a valuable contribution to the process of transitioning SX from a family-owned and run business, serving only the UK market, to one which is part of a family of companies which operate in many countries around the world. |

We are reassured that the SX team has been well prepared to continue the traditions of the SX business in delivering innovative products and class-leading customer service to the professional pest control industry. We remain committed to maintaining operations from the existing Southend facility for the long term. It is very much ‘business as usual’ at SX. In addition to our gratitude, Richard leaves us with our best wishes for continued success, health and happiness for himself and his family.” This announcement follows the acquisition of SX by P+L Systems in February 2012.
