The National Pest Technicians Association has unveiled two new additions to its website, designed to highlight the opportunities within pest control and champion the real people behind the profession.
Careers in pest control: Real People, Real Stories
These engaging new resources form part of the NPTA’s wider efforts to attract new talent into the sector, align with the ongoing 5<25 initiative, and reshape public perception of pest control.
By showcasing real voices, real stories, and real career pathways, the NPTA is shining a light on pest control as a professional, rewarding, and people-first industry.
The “Real People, Real Stories” page features a powerful set of video testimonials from professionals across the field, each sharing what brought them into pest control, why they stay, and what the job really means to them.
Kevin Lawrenson, NPTA chief executive, said the accompanying careers page outlines entry points into the industry, key skills needed, and why now is a great time to consider pest control as a career.
Mr Lawrenson said: “These videos are amazing. The work that everyone has done to bring these stories to life is incredible and deserves huge thanks. This is a brilliant step forward as we continue to support initiatives like 5<25 and build stronger career pathways for the future of our industry.”
