This year’s National Pest Awards features a new category, which looks to recognise the importance companies place on diversity in the workplace and creating an inclusive environment in which all employees feel valued and can thrive.
The new category is sponsored by Syngenta Professional Pest Management.
“People are such an integrally important part of any successful business, where a successful diversity and inclusion strategy can help every individual and the overall business grow, that’s why we are a big supporter of this new award for 2024,” said Sarah Hughes, Syngenta Professional Pest Management business manager.
“It’s a really positive thing for the industry, and we all should be as diverse and inclusive as possible.”
Ms Hughes said Syngenta does a huge amount of work in promoting and encouraging diversity and inclusion within the company.
“We genuinely believe businesses that embrace the principles and objectives will be stronger and more sustainable,” she added.
“We’re really looking forward to meeting the finalists at the event. It’ll be great to hear their stories and share their experiences.”
