Terminix has shown its support to the Valley Kids Rhydyfelin Project once again, with a donation of £1,000.
Gareth Davies, Terminix’s director of specialist services, is pictured with the Valley Kids team and more than 1,000 Christmas treat bags.
Valley Kids co-ordinator Erika Taylor said: “The Terminix donation of £1,000 that we received in November 2020 has allowed us to increase our frontline support in the Rhydyfelin community at this time of crisis.
“This donation enabled us to provide 1,000 gifts and 1,000 sweet cones for the children in Rhydyfelin to be delivered by Santa in December and we will also continue to provide wellbeing packs for the foreseeable future.”
Valley Kids strives to deliver the following outcomes:
- Improved mental health and wellbeing;
- Increased community and family resilience;
- Increased health and wellbeing of older adults;
- Stronger links between residents within sheltered housing.
Mr Davies added: “Terminix supports local communities and believes that giving back is more than just a responsibility and a commitment — it’s a privilege.”
