The Greater London Pest Liaison Groups (GLPLG) Good Practice Guides for bedbug control will be published on the GLPLGs new website which goes live on Monday 6 July.
Following the announcement at PestEx that the GLPLG had prepared a series of bedbug best practice guides, the industry has been eagerly awaiting their publication. That wait is now almost over with the new GLPLG website at www.londonpestgroup.com scheduled to go live on Monday 6 July.
There are five guides in the series:
All five guides can be downloaded as PDFs from the website. Local authorities, commercial pest control companies and other organisations involved in pest management can also personalise the guides with their own logos and contact details. Go to the bottom of the publications web page for details on how to set this up or click here and fill in the online enquiry form. The website provides useful guidance on how Local Authorities in particular might use the new publications to raise awareness of bedbugs and to explain to residents and landlords what they can do to help technicians control the problem. |

Along with other cities around the world, GLPLG members have experienced huge increases in demand for bedbug work over the past few years. The best practice guides are the result of a pooling of information by liaison group members who worked with bedbug expert and Pest Technical Advisory Board member, Clive Boase of The Pest Management Consultancy. The GLPLG the website also explains the role of the group. Future plans include the development of a members’ only area. |
