Tahir Rashid, Brandenburg UK’s sales director, said: “One-third of NHS workers tested for COVID-19 are tested positive and the government is under tremendous pressure to improve their access to adequate PPE.
“The Government is working long hours trying to arrange PPE to the NHS staff and it is an important reminder that right now it is about community and teams and everybody needs to take responsibility in their own possible way.”
Mr Rashid said Brandenburg UK’s production engineer Steve Daniels showed incredible leadership and spirit by making things happen on the ground.
He added: “The team has produced and delivered face visors across seven healthcare centres where NHS staff are putting their lives on the line to help COVID-19 patients.
“Small differences can have larger effects for the frontline workers. We stay committed to strengthening the fight against COVID-19.”
