The British Pest Control Association has appointed Pest magazine as media partner for PestExtra, its new digital event following the tough decision to postpone PestEx 2021.
PestExtra is a three-day conference – running from Tuesday, March 16 to Thursday, March 18 – and will bring together thought-leaders and public health pest experts from far and wide.
Simon Lewis, group managing director of Lewis Business Media, the publisher of Pest magazine, said: “We are delighted that Pest magazine, both in-print and online, has been approached to be PestExtra’s media partner and we look forward to working alongside the BPCA ahead of the virtual event next March.”
Ian Andrew, BPCA chief executive, added: “BPCA is thrilled to have Pest magazine supporting PestExtra. Trying to put on a huge online show for thousands of pest professionals is a daunting task, so it’s great to have the support of Pestmagazine to help get the word out.”
Registration for PestExtra is set to open in early December. Headline sponsors include BASF, Bell Laboratories and Killgerm.
PestExtra will be free to attend for BPCA member companies and UK-based pest management companies (up to five free tickets for non-members). Those wishing to attend from outside of the UK will be able to do so for a nominal price.
Mr Andrew added: “The event will be easy to access – view the show on your up-to-date internet browser on your phone or computer.”
