The results of the third annual BASF/Pest state of the nation survey, mapping the mood of the UK pest management industry will be presented at 11.00 on Wednesday 10 April at PestEx. So, if youre heading for PestEx on the first day, make sure youre there in plenty of time to bag your seat in the seminar theatre.
Whether or not you participated in this year’s BASF Pest Solutions and Pest publications online survey, now’s your chance to find out how your colleagues in the industry are spending their time. Which type of pest control activities are the ones the industry is asked to deal with most frequently, where does all this pest management take place and how optimistic, or pessimistic, is the industry about its future.
Here are just a few of the preliminary findings.
Rat, mouse and bed bug control activities have all increased over the past 12 months; The proportion of domestic and farm work has gone up slightly; The main growth areas are seen as rodent and bed bug control; Financial pressures on customers continue to be seen as the biggest barrier to effective pest management. Make sure you’re there to hear the rest. |
