With every stand sold, and that was after the number of stands had been increased, PestEx 2013 is going to be a monster exhibition! In total there are around 90 stands, certainly the greatest number yet for any such exhibition held in the UK.
Increasingly international
All the pest control supply companies we are already very familiar with are attending. Having done a brief analysis of the exhibitors, over one-third are from overseas and it is these companies which account for a large proportion of the increased exhibitors – so underlining the growing international significance of PestEx.

First time exhibitors
Of all the exhibitors over one-third are attending for the first time, and a large proportion of these are from overseas. This is a most encouraging feature, as they will bring with them new ideas and new products.
Having looked at the types of goods and services these new exhibitors are involved with, an obvious trend emerges – a large number are promoting non-chemical means of pest management or control. Is this a reflection on the difficulties and costs encountered in registering a new active substance, or a growing trend towards environmental and green options? Visit their stands and judge for yourself.
Pest has done a round-up and discovered what some of these first-timers do. To see what Pest has discovered – click here.
Let”s hope the stands are as busy as in previous years
