The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) announced on 23 January 2014 the details of its new one-day event to be held in alternate years to PestEx. It is to be called PPC Live 2014.
BPCA says the event is designed for technicians, surveyors and company owners to help improve their technical knowledge, earn vital CPD points, and keep up-to-date with the latest industry changes and products.
BPCA chief executive, Simon Forrester said: “PPC Live will be our sector”s best one-day event, serving the industry and will include a seminar and practical programme that will be unrivalled by any other event in the UK, bringing the whole sector under one roof to share and learn from each other to make a stronger, safer pest control industry.”
Simon added: “Seminar topics will include the latest on SGAR stewardship, pesticide waste handling, and a panel discussion on what clients want from their pest controllers. Further information about the PPC Live seminar and practical demonstration programme will be released in the coming weeks and months.”
BPCA says that PPC Live 2014 promises to be the second biggest UK pest control exhibition behind its sister show PestEx.
Only time will tell how it fares in comparison to PestTech – the very well established annual, one-day event organised for the last 21 years by the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA).
You can already register for your free entry ticket.
The exhibition side is once again being organised by Jan Johnson of Dewberry Redpoint. Read the exhibitor info or email Jan Johnson. There is an early-bird discount if stands are booked before 7 February 2014.
