BPCA announces changes to its leadership

BPCA has informed its members that it has parted ways with Ian Andrew, and he is no longer the chief executive of the association.

In a letter to BPCA members, Scott Johnstone, BPCA communications manager, said: “Usually, it’s my job to keep you in the loop regarding association and industry news. We’ve been a little quiet for the last week while we managed this leadership change.

“As we move forward together, I wanted to update you on this change to your Association’s leadership team. Your colleagues on the BPCA staff team will continue to run the Association. Our Board will focus on supporting the staff team and recruiting a new association leader.

“Ultimately, the Association’s day-to-day operations and the provision of your member benefits will be unaffected.”

Mr Johnstone continued: “Thank you again to our fantastic membership community. Please continue to be kind and supportive of the team. Without your support, we could not represent our sector, support your businesses and assure your customers.”
