For employees that don’t manage pests themselves, the British Pest Control Association has designed a half-day online course for you.
Whether you”re in customer service, administration, sales or you’re working in a related industry, having a basic understanding and awareness of pest management is essential.
Delegates, the BPCA said, will learn the basic principles of pest control and cover key species of pests in this taught online classroom training course.
The BPCA said the course is perfect for:
- New support staff working in a pest control environment;
- Long-serving support staff that want to refresh and deepen their knowledge and understanding; and
- Senior managers not responsible for pest control activity but do need to understand how pest management is carried out operationally.
This is a half a day virtual classroom course, running from 10am to 1pm.
Virtual classroom programmes have limited places, so you can ask questions and get involved in the training from the comfort of your home or work. The BPCA virtual classroom is accessible via Zoom.
To take part, you need:
- A computer, laptop or tablet; and
- An internet connection.
Smartphones will all so work, however the session is not optimised for very small screens.
As in a classroom environment, candidates will be encouraged to engage in discussions, share experiences and ask questions so where possible please ensure you have your camera and microphone switched on.
Slides from the training will NOT be available, so please ensure that you have pens and paper to enable you to take your own notes.
The introductory offer for the training is £50 (+VAT) for BPCA members and £65 (+VAT) for non-BPCA members.
