Terminix UK said that, in the last two months, it has undergone three external audits to confirm that it is continuing to deliver pest control services to the highest health and safety standards.
Simon Purchon, Terminix UK’s marketing director, said: “The external audits were conducted by Bureau Veritas on behalf of the Confederation of European Pest Management Associations (CEPA), the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) Audit Team and HomeServe’s Safety Audit team.
“We are proud to announce the following audit results:
- CEPA – 100%
- RISQS – 98%
- HomeServe – 100%.”
Paul Taylor, head of QHSE and Compliance, who managed the audits said: “All the audits were extremely testing and very comprehensive, but the results awarded are a credit to the hard work by all involved.
“Continuing to push the health and safety agenda across the business and maintaining a high standard of compliance is key to our success and we are delighted with the high scores that we received.”
Mr Taylor added: “Over the past year, due to COVID-19, all audits have been completed online via video link. This approach has been so successful that all ongoing audits in 2021 will also take place online, which importantly helps protect the safety of our internal colleagues/external customers and partners.
“Online auditing has also made a significant impact on non-productive travelling time and helps our ‘Green Credentials’ by reducing the environmental impact which affects us all.”
