Six industry luminaries were inducted into the Pest Control News Hall of Fame at the dinner immediately following PestTech 2009 on 4 November.
Now in its third year the Hall of Fame recognises those individuals whose contributions to the pest management industry in Europe have made a lasting impression.
The 2009 inductees are consultants Ed Allen who made his name with ADAS and Dr Graham Dodd latterly with Bayer Environmental Science, Paul Butt senior specialist with Natural England Wildlife & Management Licensing Team, Prof Gai Murphy Associate Dean in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Environment at the University of Salford, David Oldbury group manager of the pest control service for Manchester City Council and Dr Gareth Capel-Williams who is currently managing director of Pelgar International.
