Jonathan Peck, who has been chairman and group managing director of Killgerm Group since its inception, is handing over the day-to-day commercial management of the Group to a new managing director Rupert Broome.
Rupert, currently Bell Laboratories’ international director for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia will be joining Killgerm in June. He will be responsible for developing the Killgerm Group’s commercial activities.

Commenting on his new appointment, Rupert said: “I’m delighted to be joining Killgerm Group in June. During my nine years with Bell Laboratories I have had the pleasure of working closely with the distribution side of the Group. I have a huge respect for their professionalism, their excellent customer service, the training and technical back-up they offer, and the many industry events they support. Killgerm Group has a very strong international business footprint with great growth prospects, and I am excited to be a part of the executive team which will be driving the business forward.” Working alongside Rupert will be Peter Kitson who remains as Group finance director, with Raymond Harrop as Group commercial director and Sabra Fearon who continues as Group marketing and public affairs director. For those wondering if Jonathan is now to be found with his feet up sunning himself in some tropical paradise, this is, not unsurprisingly, not the plan! Far from retiring, he will continue as Killgerm Group chairman. In addition, he will continue to develop Killgerm”s stature in promoting the pest control industry generally and its role in protecting public and environmental health in particular. This will include working with the CIEH National Pest Advisory Panel and industry bodies such as CRRU and RAMPS. “Now that I am an old age pensioner,” quips Jonathan, “I believe that this is the right time to bring in new expertise to lead the Group through the next generation. Having known Rupert and worked with him since he came into the industry, I know how experienced and professional he is. We are very fortunate that he is joining us”.
