New offices for NPTA

After two years of searching, NPTA finally moved into new premises at the end of June. “The new offices are bigger, easier to find and belong to the Association,” says NPTA chairman Iain Turner. “They will be a major asset for the NPTA for years to come.”

“The new premises are situated less than five miles from Junction 26 on the M1, just off the main Nottingham Ring Road (A610). They are part of a new build development that we were able to ”pick up” at a price we could not afford to miss,” adds Iain.

The new address details are:

NPTA House
12 Farrington Way
East Link Office Park
Eastwood
Nottingham
NG16 3BF

Tel: 01773 717716
Fax: 01773 714050

The move took place over the weekend 23 and 24 June with the NPTA management board, staff and family members all lending a hand to move almost 20 years worth of gear from the old Kinoulton offices to the new site.

Anyone phoning the new number is likely to find themselves talking to Donna Alvey, who has now taken over from Margaret Coleyshaw.

Margaret retired at the end of June after 10 years with the Association. Donna is working on a full time basis and will no doubt be on a steep ‘learning curve’ as she gets to grips with the industry.

The new premises are roughly twice the size of the Kinoulton offices and incorporate an excellent meeting/training room which will be available for members to use.

Ian explains: “The larger office space will enable us to keep pace with the growth of the Association and without the constant threat of a substantial rent increase hanging over us, as had been the case for the last few months.”

“The move and the recruitment of a new member of staff would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of our office manager, Julie Gillies,” he adds. “The whole management board would like to register our deepest thanks for her work in achieving all this, whilst continuing to keep up with the day-to-day needs of members!”
