The fact is that there is very little information available about the state of the UK pest management industry. What are the issues the people in it are most concerned about? How confident are the countrys pest management professionals? Thanks to a new survey, launched today, we are about to find out.
The first National UK Pest Management Survey is a joint initiative between BASF and Pest. With your help the survey will capture the mood of the industry. It will identify the differences and similarities in outlook between the local authorities sector and private commercial pest control businesses. It will provide a benchmark of attitudes and intentions and pinpoint some of the key issue the industry needs to lobby on.
So how will it work? “If this description fits you, please can I ask you to look out for that email, perhaps checking your junk mail just in case it’s been wrongly identified as spam – it will come from [email protected] – then please set aside 10 or 15 minutes to complete the online survey.” The fact is that the more people who complete the survey, the more complete will be the picture it provides of our industry and the more useful the data will be to everyone involved. The aggregated results will be made widely available with a special pull-out supplement in the May & June issue ofPestmagazine. “We are also hoping to preview the survey findings at PestEx in April,” says Helen. “I cannot emphasise enough that the information you provide will be treated as confidential to the survey organisers and no comments will be attributed to individuals.” If for some reason you don’t receive the email and would like to take part then click here to complete the survey Please note this survey is for the UK market only and has been designed for the people at the coal-face of pest control, along with their managers and/or business owners. |
