BASF will be joined by its team of Selontra ambassadors at this year’s PestTech, where it will be unveiling two new products – the new Neosorexa Plus rodenticide blocks and the pyrethrin-based broad-spectrum insecticide, Fendona.
Six independent pest professionals who champion BASF’s award-winning rodenticide Selontra will join Laurence Barnard, country business manager at BASF, on the stand to discuss challenges and answer questions from fellow pest controllers, as well as share information about the BASF product range, including its latest additions.
Relaunched in October this year, the new and improved Neosorexa Plus bait blocks deliver a lethal dose in a single feed. The active, flocoumafen, provides pest controllers with fast, effective control against house mice (Mus musculus), black rats (Rattus rattus) and brown rats (Rattus norvegicus).
Visitors to the BASF stand will also get the opportunity to take advantage of an exclusive show special offer on Neosorexa Plus tubs, thanks to BASF’s partnership with Killgerm.
Fendona, a member of the synthetic pyrethroid family, will also launch at PestTech. The innovative broad-spectrum insecticide’s proven high-performance formulation disrupts the central nervous system of target species. This provides a rapid knockdown effect, delivering results within just 30-60 minutes of treatment.
Suitable for use in both rural and urban environments, the reintroduction of the long-lasting residual spray will play a pivotal role in the rotation of insecticide treatments to slow down insecticide resistance across the country.
Mr Barnard said: “I’m really excited to be heading back to Milton Keynes for PestTech. It’s a great show and attendees are always up for a chat on-stand and keen to learn more about our latest innovations.
“Here at BASF, we’re always working on things behind the scenes to make sure pest controllers have everything they need to get the job done quickly and efficiently, so we’re excited to be introducing not one but two new products at the show.”
