London Network for Pest Solutions has promoted Anthony White to the role of business development manager. He joined LNPS as a pest control technician and has a wealth of experience having previously worked for Ecolab.
Paul Cooper, LNPS managing director, said: “Anthony is a well-liked and valued member of the team. He is a very skilled pest control officer, and we were delighted to promote him.
“Anthony hit his targets in the first two months and is proving great at sales. Recruiting internally and carrying out sales training in house is often better than recruiting from outside. Unlike some companies, we focus on traditional ‘street sales’ and our programme is based on one that was developed many years ago by Rentokil.
“The pest control industry has been finding it hard to recruit good quality sales staff in recent years. Because of this, we took the decision a few years ago to promote from inside the business whenever possible.”
Mr White added: “I am very happy in my new role and enjoying the challenge of meeting a wide variety of new clients. My experience as a pest control technician is very helpful in my new role as it helps me quickly assess the clients’ needs and suggest the best possible solutions.”
He is currently being trained by LNPS regional manager Mike Bailes.
