Terminix has launched new mobile heat treatment services, which it said efficiently kills bacteria and viruses including Coronavirus.
Simon Purchon, Terminix UK’s marketing director, said the service kills bed bug adults, nymphs, and eggs within a treatment area.
“Equipment is fully mobile and allows us to treat rooms in high rise locations,” Mr Purchon said. “Heat treats a complete room or area for up to four hours and is non-toxic.”
Terminix said that market sector where the mobile heat treatment service could be used include hotels, hostels, student accommodation, social housing, care homes, caravan parks and holiday homes.
Mr Purchon said that there are many benefits associated with the mobile heat treatment service.
“The mobile heat treatment service offers a fast turnaround of room, which can increase occupancy and utilisation rates,” he said. “Also, there is a reduced room preparation time, as furniture, curtains and beds can remain.
“The service is environmentally friendly and there is no risk of chemical pollution and a reduced risk of allergic reaction to chemicals.”
